Timing & Resolution

Minimum duration

Classic markets must run for at least 72 hours from creation. The system enforces this minimum regardless of whether you choose a fixed date or a duration preset.

Trading close gap

Trading closes before resolution. The close gap scales with total market duration.

• Under 7 days: ~1 hour before resolution.
• 7-29 days: ~1 day before resolution.
• 30-179 days: ~3 days before resolution.
• 180-364 days: ~7 days before resolution.
• 365+ days: ~14 days before resolution.

These are the current default tiers and may be adjusted over time.

Voting window

Resolution voting begins after trading closes. Once finalized, claims open for winners (or refunds if canceled or resolved without a winner).

If you participate in bonded voting or disputes, that can create a separate claim path from normal market winnings.

Resolution claims

KEKTECH exposes a separate resolution-claims surface for users who took part in bonded resolution activity. These claims are distinct from normal winning-share payouts and normal market refunds.

• Voter reward: for eligible bonded voters on the winning side.
• Disputer reward: for eligible dispute participants when the claim path is available.
• Cancelled refund: return of bonded resolution funds on cancelled sessions.
• These claims appear in the Resolution Claims panel on the Positions page.
• The participating wallet must submit the claim transactions.
• Claim windows can expire, so these claims should not be left unattended.
